A pair of 19th century Masons Ironstone twin handled jars and covers, the domed covers with octagonal acorn finials, the jars of ribbed baluster form, printed and painted throughout with Japonesque designs and exotic birds, printed marks to base, s.d., height 41cm (2)

One cover has a firing crack to the inside of the inner lip, the other cover has a chip to the edge of the inner lip and also has cracks to the interior and outer rim, this cover also has restoration to the inner lip, both jars have some cracks and stained crazing and firing cracks, both jars have applied ceramic pads to the bases.
