A pair of late 19th century Meissen porcelain figural sweetmeat dishes, with twin shell shaped dishes internally decorated with flowers and modelled with a man with a saucepan to one and a woman holding a goose to the other, the figures in 18th century costume, on scroll work bases, impressed, incised and painted marks,, numbered 173 height 17cm x length 24cm (2)

Male figure has broken ladle, the lady has a chipped and the other shoe has regilded tip, firing crack on goose, minor paint wear.
