A 19th Century Turkish Yatagan, the gilt metal and walrus ivory hilt set with seven carved coral cabochons, the rusted blade with gilt metal and red stone mounted to the hilt join, inscription to one side of blade and star symbol to the other, overall length 76cm, length of blade 60cm
Old soldered repair to blade, tip is bent, chunk of ivory missing to one side of hilt, old cracks in ivory but no gaps to splits
