A Japanese Meiji period (1868 to 1912) Satsuma pottery koro of shaped square outline, with foliate embossed and domed white metal cover and neck rim, the koro with gilt flowers on a blue and white crackle glaze ground, gilt key band, on four short feet, marks to base, height 6.5cm x width 9cm
The underside has patches of stained crazing, a few small patches of wear to the glaze, otherwise good condition.
